Holly Summers, an ancient snake immortal, has guarded the Brook family for a century to repay a life-saving grace. She sacrifices her millennia of cultivation to save the family heir Tony Brook, even marrying him. Blinded by his lover Tara’s lies, Tony cuts open Holly’s life-bonded snake—her cultivation core—to cure Tara’s fake cough, destroying her power and leaving her on the brink of death. Holly severs all mortal ties and ascends to godhood, while Tony learns the truth too late. His betrayal dooms his family to ruin, and this wind-like love ends in nothing but irreversible regret.
